But Kate Beckinsale was showing off her more playful side on Tuesday as she posed with her pet cat named Clive on top of her head.
The actress, 48, took to her Instagram feed to share the fun pictures with her fans as the friendly animal took a rest in the precarious position.

Despite the animal's presence, Kate managed to still rock a perfectly styled blow dry and opted for a glamorous makeup look.
She captioned the series of snaps: 'If you are glad someone's home, let them know.'
She beamed in the post as the cat put his paws over her face and eyes while wearing a skimpy white and black vest and posing in her bedroom.

In the snaps she posed with her Pomeranian pup.
In the first snapshot the movie star looked younger than her years as she rocked two space buns on either side of her head.
Some skeptical fans took the opportunity to criticize the entertainer. 'Why edit your jawline though? You're perfect. No need for photoshop.'
Another dropped in to say, 'You look 12...how???' with shocked expression and heart eye emojis.
Earlier this week Kate showed off a racy costume in her dressing room on set of the movie Prisoner's Daughter in Las Vegas.
