PENSACOLA, Fla. - Watson is on his way to Pensacola.

Watson -- named after Bubba Watson -- arrives from California Friday night. He's eight weeks old and is a Golden Retriever/Labrador mix.

Channel 3 will livestream Watson's arrival around 8:45 p.m.

Watson was one of five in his litter and the first one born! The future service dog weighs about 15 pounds and will probably top out around 60 once he's full grown.

Watson will be raised with the Pensacola Blue Wahoos and be at many games this summer once his vaccinations are up to date. He is set to live and train in Pensacola with his volunteer puppy raiser Kathryn Daniel until November 2022.

Watson is part of the same organization our Chappie is from -- Canine Companions.

Chappie is in Advanced Training in Orlando where he's doing really well! Chappie has learned to open push plates on doors and turn on light switches with his nose. Chappie could be paired with his forever person as soon as this August.
