Ohio wildlife officials rescue injured bald eagle
An injured bald eagle was recently rescued by an Ohio wildlife officer.Huron County Wildlife Officer Matt D. Smith received a call from a person who was concerned about the injured bald eagle. Officers were then able to locate the eagle about a half-mile into a woodlot.According to the Ohio Division of Wildlife, officers believed the eagle was injured during a territorial dispute with another eagle.Officers were able to secure the eagle and take it to Wild Rehabilitation Center for treatment.The Ohio Division of Wildlife wants to thank Officer Smith for his response and care for the eagle.
