A dog stuck on thin ice on Mascoma Lake in New Hampshire was rescued by Lebanon firefighters. According to the Lebanon Fire Department Facebook page, they were dispatched after 3 p.m. Friday to Mascoma Lake. When they got there, they found the scared dog unwilling to go to its owner. Firefighters Jared Cook and Kayleigh Eastman waded into the water and brought the dog back to shore, reuniting the dog with its owner. "Pleased that no bystanders attempted to go out on the very thin ice!" the department wrote on its Facebook page.
