William and Kate share touching cards their kids made for ‘Granny Diana’

Prince William and Kate Middleton’s children made heartfelt cards addressed to Princess Diana on UK Mother’s Day.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge posted the artwork-adorned creations from Prince George, 7, Princess Charlotte, 5, and Prince Louis, 2, for their “Granny Diana.”

“Dear Granny Diana, Happy Happy Mothers Day,” read George’s card. “I love you very much and think of you always, sending lots of love from George xxxxx.”

The future heir to the throne seems to have inherited some of his grandfather Prince Charles’ artistic skills as he also drew a lovely landscape picture.

Charlotte’s card, which was adorned with a brightly colored heart and included Angelina Ballerina stickers, read: “Dear Granny Diana. I am thinking of you on mother’s day. I love you very much papa is missing you lots of love Charlotte.”

Louis’ card featured a decorated heart and the little boy’s name.

A caption alongside the photos noted that the three children — who never met Diana, who died in 1997 — “make cards remembering their Granny, Diana, for William” each Mother’s Day, which is celebrated in March in the UK.

“This year Mothers’ Day will be different once again. Many of us will be apart from our loved ones, but looking forward to a time in the not too distant future when we can give our mother a hug again,” the caption also noted.

“But for those experiencing bereavement, today may be particularly challenging.”

The couple also shared a photo of a sponge cake festooned with brightly colored pipe cleaners bent into hearts and a throwback photo of a toddler Kate Middleton holding hands with her mother, Carole Middleton.

“Celebrating two other special mothers today made by George, Charlotte and Louis,” read the caption alongside the pics.

Last week, Prince Harry opened up about his fractured relationship with older brother William in a bombshell interview with Oprah Winfrey, once again confirming that the two are currently not on the best of terms.

“As I said before, I love William to bits,” the ginger-haired royal said. “We’ve been through hell together and we have a shared experience, but we are on different paths.”
