Hot dog, that’s a freezing pooch!

A husky fell through thin ice and plunged into a pond at an Eastchester, New York golf course — but local firefighters pulled the pooch to safety.

Jax and some canine companions were playing on the snow-swept Siwanoy Country Club around 11 a.m. Monday when the ice covering the pond gave way beneath his paws, lohud.com reported, citing the Eastchester Professional Firefighters Local 916 union.

“Using specialized ice water rescue equipment, our members acted quickly to reach the dog and bring him to safety!” the union wrote in a Facebook post with photos of the daring rescue.

The union also posted video of one responder — identified by lohud.com as Domenick DiRienzo — decked out in a cold-water suit as he swam through the frigid water, grabbed Jax and pulled him back to shore.

Back on solid ground, the chilly dog was bundled up in blankets and reunited with his grateful humans, lohud.com reported, adding that Jax is expected to make a full recovery.
