This is a story many moms can likely relate to. An Ohio mother of three was leaving her son's football practice with two of her kids crying. "My 4-year-old was so tired he started crying and acting a fool as we were getting in the van. My 7-year-old daughter started crying because I told her we were having red potatoes as a side for dinner, and clearly she wasn’t a fan," Brittany Reed posted on Facebook. Reed decided to scratch dinner and go through the drive-thru.It's what happened next that caused her post to go viral. She realized after she had ordered that she didn't have her purse. "I tell the young man working the window, like, 'I totally forgot my purse at home, I am so sorry. I have to cancel that entire order,'" she told sister station WLWT. "Before I could say 'I'll be right back,' he was like, 'not a problem,' and reaches out and grabs his wallet and swipes his debit card. I was like, 'What did you just do? I was like, 'No, I don't have anything with me. He was like, 'No, it's fine, ma'am, I got it,'" Reed said. Reed quickly snapped a picture and posted it to Facebook in an attempt to tell his mom how kind he had been. The young man's name is Wyatt Jones. His mom, Lisa Jones, said he didn't mention the interaction initially because he thought it wasn't a big deal. "It makes me probably even more proud of him because he's not seeking the limelight. He's not like, 'Hey, look at me, you know, I did this great big good deed.' He's still like, 'It's just something I would do anytime,'" his mom said. The post received almost half a million shares and more than 600,000 likes. "The world's kind of scary right now. It's very uncertain. And so stuff like, when you hear about somebody being kind for no reason... unfortunately it's not the norm all the time anymore," Reed said.
