The past few months have been difficult for everyone. Living through a pandemic that completely flips our world upside down is not something we ever thought we’d live through. But there are certain things that can bring us happiness even in the roughest of times. One of these things is when people come together to help animals in need. Recently, people came together to rescue a horse who wandered out of her barn and fell into a swimming pool. Now, another amazing horse rescue has taken place and it’s too great not to share.

The horse in the video above somehow fell into a ditch and was unable to get out. However, fire crews from Chatteris, Sutton and animal rescue specialists from Dogsthorpe all came to help the horse.

A nearby farmer also came to help and thanks to his telehandler, they were able to successfully and safely pull the horse out of the ditch. The horse appears very calm during the rescue and therefore must have felt safe!

The great news is that the horse is now recovering at home with her human.

It could have been a scary situation if people didn’t notice the horse fell into a ditch in time or if the rescuers didn’t all come to help, but thank goodness for kind people.
