BIKE 10 MILES TO RAISE MONEY FOR THE MISSISSIPPI FOOD NETWORK. SAW IT ON THE NEWS ONE DAY THAT THE MISSISSIPPI FOOD NETWORK NEEDS BACKUP MEALS FOR FEEDING MISSISSIPPI. JAMES SAID HE WAS SITTING AT HOME WITH NOTHING TO DO AND THAT'S WHEN HE CA UP WITH THE IDEA IT'S DEFINITELY VERY BORING AT MY HOUSE. IT'S JUST THE SA OLD PLAYING WITH MY DOG OUTSIDE OR DOING SCHOOL WORK INSIDE. SO THOUGHT THE BIKE RIDE HAD A BENEFIT FOR ME AND FOR OTHERS. AFTER HIS MOM POSTED A VIDEO OF HIS IDEA T DONATIONS STARTED TO ROLL IN. WHEN HE CAME DOWN HE WAS LIKE I HAVE THIS IDEA. HE WAS KINDA CASUAL ABOUT IT. BUT THEN I WAS LIKE I THINK HE'S REALLY SERIOUS ABOUT THIS. SO HE KINDA TALKED ABOUT WHAT HE WANTED TO DO. I MADE JUST A COUPLE OF TWEAKS. HE MADE THE VIDEO AND IT JUST TOOK OFF. WE HAD SOME PEOPLE SUPPORTING US TOO OUT THER HOLDING UP SIGNS AND A WATER STATION SO THANK YOU T EVERYBODY WHO SUPPORTED ME. IN ONE WEEK, HE RAISED $3,000 WHICH WILL PROVIDE 18,000 MEALS. A Brandon, Mississippi, 10-year-old used his legs to raise money for families in Mississippi.Last Sunday James Pacelli rode his bike for 10 miles to raise money for the Mississippi Food Network. “I saw on the news one day that the Mississippi Food Network needed backup meals for feeding Mississippi,” Pacelli said.Pacelli said he was sitting at home with nothing to do when he came up with the idea.“It’s definitely very boring at my house. It’s the same every day, playing with my dog outside or doing schoolwork inside. I thought the bike ride had a benefit for me and for others,” Pacelli said.After his mom posted a video of his idea, the donations started rolling in. "When he talked to me at first he said, ‘I have this idea.' He was casual about it. But then I thought he was really serious. He talked about what he wanted to do. I made a few tweaks. He made the video and it took off,” said Katy Pacelli, James’ mom.People from 12 different states and three countries donated to Pacelli’s bike ride. “There were people supporting us out there holding up signs and a water station. I want to say thank you to everybody who supported me,” Pacelli said.Pacelli raised $3000 for the Mississippi Food Network. That will provide 18,000 meals for Mississippians in need.

Last Sunday James Pacelli rode his bike for 10 miles to raise money for the Mississippi Food Network.

“I saw on the news one day that the Mississippi Food Network needed backup meals for feeding Mississippi,” Pacelli said.

Pacelli said he was sitting at home with nothing to do when he came up with the idea.
