Detective Jason Gianatiempo decided to adopt 3-5-year-old pit bull after Moore Township officers found him tied to a tree on a tree farm on Feb. 5. 
A standing ovation for Detective Jason Gianatiempo (“‘He deserves a second chance’: After Moore Township officers rescue pit bull tied to a tree, one decides to take him home,” The Morning Call, Feb. 17). Whenever I see, read or hear of any animal being abused, neglected or abandoned, it cuts me to the core.
Thank you and your family for stepping up to give Chance a second chance at life and happiness. You made my month by giving voice to the voiceless. Bravo, sir.
