'You could see it. It was swirling around and it was pretty big,' she told 7 News.
In the footage a dog can be seen sitting in the backyard of the home as he suddenly becomes anxious and runs down the side of the house.
Only moments later winds can be seen swirling around the yard before his kennel and several chairs are picked up and violently thrown against the fence by the 113km/h winds.
The winds rip apart the items in the yard as a trampoline next door was seen being thrown out of sight.
Melbourne endured strong storms on Wednesday night and significant rainfall across the state that helped to ease the intensity of the bushfires.
