A local officer is going viral for buying an 11-year-old candy after some teens stole her bag.

Sandra Regalado was finished trick or treating Halloween night. When she was finished, Sandra walked to her friend's house.

When the household ran out of Halloween candy, Sandra began passing out some of her own hard-earned candy to trick or treaters.

Unfortunately, two teens had come up to the house, grabbed her bag of candy - yanking her out of the doorway and ran off.

Blaine County Sheriff Office Deputy Chris Harrison saw a video of this incident and bought candy for her the next day.

This picture shows Sandra, Chris, and K9 officer Kimber after the two tracked her down.

“Nothing is a genuine as the heart of a child. We can all take a lesson from Sandra," Chris said.
