An animal trapped in a muddy prison received some help.Sportsmen came across a bull elk stuck in a bog and reached out to the Utah Division of Wildlife Resources, state officials said on social media.The Salt Lake Tribune reported the assistance came from biologists and fishermen who first spotted the animal when they noticed what they thought were shed antlers on the ground.The team safely freed the animal with the help of an all-terrain vehicle.Tap the video above to find out how their efforts helped the elk.
