Firefighters rescue of kittens trapped in vehicle engine compartment on Merritt Island

Firefighters helped rescuers from Brevard County Animal Services free several kittens trapped inside the undercarriage and engine compartment of a vehicle on Merritt Island Saturday.

Firefighters Ryan barrack, Andrew Dreisbach and James Krause with Brevard County Fire Rescue Engine 43 arrived at the scene and carefully removed the kittens from under the vehicle.

The kittens were uninjured and reunited with their mother, Brevard County Fire Rescue said in a Facebook post.
