Firefighters rescue 20 dogs from fire at veterinarian hospital

Firefighters rescued 20 dogs Saturday morning from a fire at a San Antonio veterinarian hospital.

Emergency crews were called to the Babcock Hills Veterinarian Hospital at about 8:30 a.m. for reports of a fire. Authorities said the fire started from a smoldering solar panel. Firefighters took the fire down in less than 10 minutes.

Officials evacuated 20 dogs from the veterinarian hospital.

The fire caused about $10,000 in damages.
